Sci fi Cabinet- 'It Could Be Worse'.

Vintage cabinet- perfect as a sideboard or as a media unit as the doors fold right open.
Painted in thick layers of paint over an undercoat of duck egg. The decoupage has been printed in fade-resistant ink designed to last up to 100 years before any fading occurs. Then painted over the top to blend all of the components together in thick layers and dribbles, before heavily distressing the finish. The text reads, 'it could be worse' in the undercoat.
Distressed all over to reveal glimpses of the undercoat and back to wood in some areas to age it.
Finally varnished with a floor varnish to provide a durable finish.
I aim to create the feel of a genuinely aged bohemian piece.
This is a VINTAGE refurbished piece and may have life marks, dinks, knocks etc. The construction is of a high quality. Sturdy and sound, no odour, noo woodworm. The doors latch nicely and open wide so the cabinet would be suitable as a media cabinet.
